Stationary Skills (In-Person Group Class)

In this 4-week course we will cover the skill of stillness. Many tasks require that your dog learn to follow a cue for a skill and maintain that skill over time. For instance, your dog can learn to run to his or her bed and stay there, offer his or her steady paw for a nail trim, or stay still for a veterinary exam. Dogs that understand the concept of voluntary stillness are a dream to live with; dogs that willingly comply are happier dogs!

Class Start:

** This 4-week course meets on June 19th, July 3rd, July 10th and July 24th (2024) from 6:30-7:30pm EST.

Pre-requisite: at least one private session with me and the dog with which you would like to register, participation in the Relationship & Management group class, OR completion of the online course “Drop the Struggle.”
